Welcome to TEEHUB.COM's artist interview series! Today, we are excited to feature one of our talented artists, Brynn Bernard. She will share her experiences and insights into designing and selling print-on-demand T-shirts, along with a richer backstory about her artistic journey.

Q: Brynn, how did your artistic journey begin?

Brynn: I started getting into art at a very young age. I was surrounded by creativity: my mom was a painter and my dad was a carpenter. I spent several hours every day painting, and my mom used to take me to various galleries and studios. And so, as naturally as breathing, my passion for art began. After high school I decided to go to art college to study graphic design with the hope of becoming a professional artist.

Q: How did you end up in print-on-demand T-shirts?

Brynn:A few years after I graduated from art school, I started working as a freelance illustrator and designer for magazines and different good, and other products. One day I went to a design expo and saw an exhibition of a print-on-demand technology, and it hit the bullseye. Imagine – you can draw whatever you want and print it on a T-shirt instantly without caring about the inventory and logistics. I was raptured and started researching it. Eventually, I came across TEEHUB.COM – a loving site for artists.

Q: What inspires you to get ideas for T-shirt designs?

Brynn: My inspiration comes from a wide range of sources, primarily everyday life, nature, and pop culture. I adore nature and receive lots of ideas during forest walks and seaside tours. I will always remember the greatest inspiration from my vacation with the sunset. I liked it so much that a few days later, I came up with a unique T-shirt design, that was presented in a series of T-shirts on the themes of sunset and waves and was a hit with clients; and observe what is in trend in fashion and then apply to create some great theme.

Q: What benefits and advantages do you see from print-on-demand ?

Brynn: I believe that flexibility and minimal risk are the most significant benefits. By using print-on-demand, there is no need to spend a significant amount prior to the production, or stock all of the future items. This way, I am able to reduce risk in terms of losing money, and on the other hand, I free much time for designing. Also, TEEHUB.COM's automated system is very efficient; therefore, I don't have to worry about logistics. I'm always available to respond to demand and release holiday, seasonal collections quickly to stay updated and competitive.

Q: What advice would you give to other artists who want to try print-on-demand?

Brynn: Do it! Keep learning. Print-on-demand technical support is very in place, and it won’t take long to get started for a beginner. The most important thing is to maintain your passion for creating things and then keep launching new works based on popular trends. Of course, it is necessary to communicate with customers and improve with feedback. I also encourage you to start with small batches at first and increase production after understanding the response.

Q: Finally, do you have any upcoming original designs, plans or ideas?

Brynn: Oh, of course! In addition to the product line I currently want to sell, I'm also considering decorating other home items and even clothing. I also dream of having an exhibition that could show my creative journey over the years, and I would also love to meet new fans and enthusiasts and share my experiences with them. Please continue to like my work!

Thank you very much, Bryn Bernard, for sharing your inspiring experience and innovative ideas. If anyone is curious about the artist’s designs, go to TEEHUB.COM and acquire her brilliant line of exclusive T-shirts. Hopefully, she will present even more fascinating things in the future!
